The Friuli Venezia Giulia region, thanks to the variety of its habitats, has a surprising floristic richness. There are many species defined as being of community importance and of regional interest that we can already appreciate walking through the Carsiana Botanical Garden. But how to behave when we meet them? And what rules govern the collection of non-protected species?
On Saturday 19th September at 3.30 pm we will explore this interesting and important theme in the company of the botanist Pierpaolo Merluzzi. During the presentation, the booklet "Protected flora and fauna of Friuli Venezia Giulia" will be distributed free of charge, published by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Naturalistic Educational Center of Basovizza, and which can be a useful support during your walks not only in the Karst but also in the whole region.
