3 July: Born to read in Carsiana

Sunday 3 July from 10.30 to 12.00 at the Botanical Garden / Botanični vrt Carsiana (Sgonico / Zgonik 55) Born to Read returns to offer all-natural readings aimed at families with children aged 2 and over. According to the formula already adopted last year, the readings will be followed by a child-friendly walk to discover Carsiana in the company of a naturalist guide of the garden.


The appointment with Italian-Slovenian bilingual readings is part of the national project Mamma Lingua, for the promotion of the mother tongue and multilingualism in early childhood.

Around the date of the event, the Sales Municipal Library will offer an exhibition of books in Italian and Slovenian with a nature theme suitable for the 0-6 age group.

The meeting will be attended by the LibRIbelli bookshop, which will curate an exhibition of books for young and old thanks to Uncle Gio 'and his legendary "Drago" van, where books cannot be bought or sold, but can be taken for free.

The reservation is effective upon receipt of the confirmation by the Carsiana staff.
