At a time when the leaves fall, the trees lose their imposing shape and give way to the rock, the Carsiana Botanical Garden invites you on a journey into the geological past of the sinkhole to discover the geodiversity of the botanical garden and its link with biodiversity , with an interesting insight into the latest research on limestone rocks, geological paleoenvironments and microfossils.
Appointment on Saturday 19 November with the botanical experts of Carsiana and the paleontologist Lorenzo Consorti of the CNR-ISMAR.
At the end of the interventions, some publications published by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia will be distributed free of charge.
