The Carsiana Botanical Garden can be visited independently also by groups and schools using the map-guides and descriptions that the staff are ready to provide at the entrance. It is also possible for schools and groups to book a guided tour or a workshop that will allow them to learn more about the garden and its precious flora or to explore various important natural history themes.
These workshops, with themes ranging from botany to geology, are calibrated according to the group and always include the direct involvement of the students who collect data, identify plants, search for information and experience the differences between the types of rock.
Using a contribution of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, the workshops are free until they reach the maximum number of participants.
The teaching programme we offer is available in Italian. It is available in other languages on request.
