Events Calendar
Current and past land use, sinkholes and microclimate, the relationship between flowers and insects, soil, pond and woodland fauna, ecology and conservation, climate change, bio-indicators, environmental monitoring: these and others are examples of topics that can be discussed starting with the insects that can be observed during a short walk in the botanical garden.
We will in fact see how much information can be gleaned from insects in even a limited area. In this context, some simple entomofauna monitoring techniques will be demonstrated as a useful tool for understanding and managing the area.
This is without detracting from the pleasure of simply observing the animal in its environment.
