The Karst territory is characterised by a dense network of caves and caverns, many of which can only be visited by cavers with specific equipment, but some, with due caution, are ready to reveal themselves even to the less experienced.

On the occasion of the Karst Geopark week, Barbara Grillo, geologist and nature guide, will accompany families on a fascinating excursion to Carsiana and its surroundings, all dedicated to Karst caves.

We will start from the cave of Carsiana Jablenza 2°, to continue with an excursion in the territory of the Municipality of Sgonico, where a series of caves, wells and abysses give a good idea of how many cavities there are in the Karst territory.

The event is organised with a limited number of participants. Participation is only possible by reservation.
