The Carsiana Botanical Garden in collaboration with the emerging Karst-Kras Geopark, takes you on a journey into the geological past of the sinkhole to discover the geodiversity of the botanical garden and its link with biodiversity, with an interesting study on the latest research on limestone rocks , on geological paleoenvironments and microfossils.
Appointment on Wednesday 1 June at 3.30 pm with the botanical experts of Carsiana and the paleontologist Lorenzo Consorti of the CNR-ISMAR.
At the end of the interventions, some publications published by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia will be distributed free of charge.
